With the weight of the 'world' on my shoulders,
it is emotionally draining,
and probably a tad exhausting.

Sometimes I just wanna throw it all aside,
just give up,
and be selfish for the rest of my life.

But, no.

I am not going to be like that.
No, I was not brought up to be like that.
So I'm just gonna keep on truckin'.

Despite the frustration it brings,
and probably even the occasional tears.

'Cause one never knows when you'll get that one last.
